Misser (Tim Landers of Transit and Brad Wiseman of This Time Next Year) will release their debut LP, Every Day I Tell Myself I’m Going To Be A Better Person, digitally this Tuesday (May 15). A physical release will follow later summer on Rise Records. The label is now streaming a new song titled “I’m Really Starting To Hope The World Ends In 2012″ on YouTube. The album is the follow-up to the band’s 2011 debut EP.
A Tragedy In Progress (the complete and original line-up of Across Five Aprils) will release a new full-length album, Mechanical Weather, on August 14 via Indianola Records. The first track, ”The Human Condition”, from the upcoming record is streaming now on YouTube. Mechanical Weather is the follow-up to 2011′s Going Down With The Ship EP which is available now on iTunes.
Owl City will release the Shooting Star EP this Tuesday, May 15. The album features his new single “Shooting Star” along with “Gold,” “Take It All Away,” and “Dementia” which features blink-182’s Mark Hoppus on guest vocals. All four tracks are from Owl City’s upcoming full-length studio album – out this summer on Universal Republic.
Romance On A Rocketship will release Creatures of the Night on June 26, 2012 via Doghouse Records. The first single from the album “Let’s Have Fun Tonight” will be available on iTunes on May 29. No Sleep Records has announced the signing of post-punk/hardcore band Lowtalker, who has entered the studio to record a new EP due out later this year. Comprised of Stu Ross (ex-Misery Signals, ex-Living with Lions), Matt Keil (Comeback Kid) and Casey Hjelmberg (Comeback Kid), Lowtalker formed in 2008, taking their name from the “Puffy Shirt” episode of “Seinfeld.” Stay tuned for further news about their upcoming EP.

The Rocket Summer (Bryce Avary) has announced U.S. headlining tour dates in support of his fifth full-length album Life Will Write The Words, which releases on Tuesday, June 5 on Avary’s own Aviate Records. The second leg of the tour kicks off June 19 in St. Petersburg, FL with support from The Scene Aesthetic and special guests States. The Rocket Summer is currently on tour with Switchfoot.
