Portugal. The Man will head out on a nationwide headlining tour this Spring. The 5-week outing, which kicks off April 3, will hit both coasts, with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, and more. The Lonely Forest, an American indie rock band discovered and signed by Chris Walla from Death Cab for Cutie, who launched their debut album Arrows for his imprint label Trans via Atlantic Records, will serve as the supporting act.
Go Radio will hit the road this spring on a U.S. headlining tour. The tour kicks off on March 20 and will feature support from There For Tomorrow, Tonight Alive, Tyler Carter (ex-Woe, Is Me), and Simple As Surgery. Additionally, Go Radio is set to head into the studio this month to record their second full-length album. The album will be recorded with James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Dashboard Confessional) and slated for a summer 2012 release.

Death Cab for Cutie (Atlantic) has announced North American tour dates following a string of dates in Australia and South East Asia. The dates begin April 10 in Denver. Youth Lagoon will support Death Cab beginning April 27 and continue through the end of the tour. The first leg opener has not yet been announced. DCFC will be accompanied on stage by members of San Francisco’s Magik*Magik Orchestra.
MxPx will release their ninth studio album, Plans Within Plans, on April 3, 2012. The album will be released through MRI/Rock City Recording Company within the U.S. and Canada and will also be available in Japan (Bullion Records), Europe/UK (Flix Records) and Australia/New Zealand (El Shaddai Records). The 13-track effort follows up their 2007 full-length album, Secret Weapon.
Canberra, Australia’s Hands Like Houses has signed to Rise Records. A video announcement can be viewed here. The band recorded their debut album Ground Dweller at Chango Studios with Cameron Mizell (Sleeping with Sirens, Woe Is Me). The album will be released on March 13, 2012. The All-American Rejects will release their new single “Beekeeper’s Daughter” digitally on January 31, 2012. The track was produced by Greg Wells (Adele, Katy Perry, OneRepublic). “Beekeeper’s Daughter” is the second track on AAR’s upcoming fourth studio album, Kids In The Street, which will be released March 27, 2012. The band is currently on the “Shaking Off The Rust Tour,” which kicked off on Wednesday.
Epitaph Records has announced the signing of Los Angeles based heavy melodic hardcore band The Ghost Inside. Formed in 2007, the band has built a following with two previous records, and touring with bands such as Bring Me The Horizon and The Devil Wears Prada. The group is currently working on their yet untitled Epitaph debut with Jeremy Mckinnon (of A Day To Remember) producing.
Mayday Parade has announced a nationwide co-headlining tour with We The Kings. The Downtown Fiction and Anarbor will support. Tickets for “The End of the World Tour” are on sale now at MaydayParade.com. The band is touring in support of their self-titled album (out now on ILG), which debuted at #12 on Billboard’s Top 200, marking a career high chart position and sales numbers.
3OH!3′s breakthrough debut album, WANT, has been officially certified Gold by the RIAA. The album features the hit single, “Don’t Trust Me,” which reached #1 at Pop radio while also achieving double platinum certification from the RIAA. “Don’t Trust Me” was followed by a second major hit in “Starstrukk (Feat. Katy Perry)” which was also certified RIAA platinum. 3OH!3 is currently writing material for their third release.
