Comedic rap trio The Lonely Island will release their third studio effort, The Wack Album, on June 11, 2013 via Republic Records. The album will include new songs featuring Pharrell Williams, T-Pain, Billie Joe Armstrong, Solange, and other special guests to be revealed. These artists join previously announced collaborators Adam Levine, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, and Lady Gaga.
Pierce The Veil has premiered their new music video for “Bulls In The Bronx” on Vevo.com. “Bulls In The Bronx” was directed by Drew Russ and shot on location in Pasadena. The video is the band’s third video from their album, Collide With The Sky, which has sold over 100,000 copies since release. Previous videos include “Hell Above” (1.5 Million Views) and “King for a Day” (11.9 Million Views).
Sheare, the moniker of 24-year-old NYC artist Brandon Sheer, has released an animated music video for his single “Somebody Else.” The video was shot with M-I-E (Regina Spektor, George Michael). Sheare’s debut EP, Somebody Else, was produced and mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Coldplay, Arcade Fire, Muse) and is available on iTunes now.

Boston-based quintet Native Wildlife has teamed up with Boston-based artist Erik Rojas to design a poster limited to 40 hand-numbered prints with 100% of profits made being donated to the One Fund for those affected by the Boston Marathon attacks on Monday. The Swellers will enter the studio on April 19 to begin recording what they have been referring to as Album #4. The album will be the follow-up to their independently-released EP, Running Out Of Places To Go. The Swellers will be tracking the music with Marc Hudson (Saves The Day, Taking Back Sunday) in Michigan and recording vocals in Chicago with Mark Michalik.
Albany pop-punks State Champs have announced they have begun work on their debut full-length record. The band’s new album will be co-produced by New Found Glory’s Steve Klein and engineered by Sam Pura at The Panda Studios in Fremont, CA. The record is expected to be out in late summer/early fall 2013.

Paris, France pop-punk outfit Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! have released their new single “Taking Chances” on iTunes, Spotify and YouTube. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Pardon My French, set for release April 30th. Fans can expect to hear the band play “Taking Chances” currently on their headline tour with label mates For All Those Sleeping, Upon This Dawning, and friends City Lights.
